Neighbourhood Plan Team Independent Chair - Sue Manns Sue Manns is a Chartered Town Planner and lives in Church Stretton. She has spent her career working in the West Midlands and nationally. Her experience spans the public, private and voluntary sectors and academia. She was President of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2020, is a Fellow of the Institute and also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Sue was awarded a MBE for services to planning in the 2022 New Year’s Honours. Technical Advisor - Dave Chetwyn Dave Chetwyn is Managing Director of Urban Vision Enterprise CIC, a social enterprise providing professional services in planning, regeneration and third sector organisational development. He is also Managing Director of D2H Land Planning Development Limited, Chair of the Board of the National Planning Forum, a Design Council CABE Built Environment Expert and an Associate of the Consultation Institute. Former roles include Head of Planning Aid England, UK Chair of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, Chair of the Historic Towns Forum, and a team leader in local Government. He has advised and participated in various Government groups, reviews and Parliamentary select committees on planning and regeneration. Dave has acted as a neighbourhood plan independent examiner. In addition to authoring the guide "Neighbourhood Plans Roadmap", he has written a range of other documents including guides on regeneration, community-led housing and conservation professional practice. He authored parts of BS7913. Dave is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
